Lauren is a member of the tax department and manages a variety of different tax engagements. Lauren prepares and reviews both personal and corporate tax returns and oversees tax compliance engagements. She also undertakes tax planning and restructuring and endeavours to provide timely and accurate tax advice to clients to ensure that they meet their business goals.
Lauren is passionate about continuing education and is always searching for ways to improve her tax knowledge having recently completed CPA’s rigorous in-depth tax program. Joining Freelandt Caldwell Reilly in 2019, Jeff brings a diverse experience in careers spanning from financial analyst at a large national corporation to controller at various medium sized corporations in differing industries. Transitioning from an aircraft technician to a financial analyst while working on his accounting designation, Jeff developed reporting and tracking of operations that delivered valuable metrics to the operations management team. This was brought into his role as a controller for a firm in the architecture/engineering sector, reducing the time to bill from weeks to hours and improving collections and efficiencies. Currently Jeff is working with owner managed businesses, assisting them with the business flow processes to help them be compliant and to help them have solid data to generate accurate and timely reports.
Jeff is glad to be back in Sudbury and lives on the outskirts enjoying the outdoors, aviation and he is in the initial stages of a hobby farm.

In Loving Memory…
‘A wonderful man has left this earth but will forever be in our hearts.’
Great memories will live on as we commemorate one of our founding members, Sam Lolas , who passed at the age of 57 on July 11, 2021.
Sam was born in Sudbury and was an accomplished and well-respected CA and Senior partner at FCR. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leaf and Pittsburgh Steeler’s fan and was actively involved in coaching both of his sons’ hockey teams. Sam was always there to provide support and always put his family and friends first. He thoroughly enjoyed the company of his colleagues and clients.
He had shown us love, brought us joy, and made us laugh, and given us the lasting gifts of a beautiful life – and blessed our memories forever.
