Joel is responsible for firm-wide strategic leadership and alliances, client service excellence, and innovation. He focuses on shaping the direction of the firm, advancing its technology and digital strategy, and ensuring the delivery of high-impact, value-driven services to clients.

With a passion for entrepreneurship and the private-enterprise sector, Joel works closely with business owners and leaders to support strategic planning, growth, and long-term value creation. His role includes guiding the firm’s advisory and assurance practices, elevating client experience and outcomes, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the firm.

At FCR, Joel helps lead the firm’s evolution as a modern, technology-enabled accounting and advisory practice, enhancing service delivery, leveraging automation and data, and empowering teams to better serve clients and their communities. Entrepreneurial at heart, he is committed to supporting business leaders throughout their journey with clarity, confidence, and strategic insight.

Formerly a member of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board, Joel continues to support the profession through collaboration with CPA Canada on initiatives focused on innovation in practice and the evolving needs of private-enterprise advisors and their clients.
